"Some real Video Nasties"

Films: The Video Dead (1987)

Alias: Various, notably the Bride, Jimmy D, Jack, Ironhead

Type: Mystical

Location: Haunted home/Forest

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: The dead have odd ways of coming to kill the living from beyond the grave. Here, they can't even be confined to T.V. land!

History: Somewhere in an abandoned house, a paranormal T.V. set houses the souls of the undead in a weird exploitation flick known as "Zombie Blood Nightmare". The undead who live in this weird tape hate themselves for their current state, and would kill any living person to justify their pitiful existence. Trouble is that someone played this tape for long enough for some of the zombies to escape.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Eventually, the zombies are tricked into going into a room with a mirror in it, which drives them to kill and eat each other. Upon dying, their remains are sucked into the TV. But it still persists, capable of summoning more zombies...even if they are easier to deal with.

Powers/Abilities: Immortality.

Weakness: Will mutilate each other if they see a mirror, and can become harmless if there is no fear around them.

Scariness Factor: 3-Out of all the zombies we've seen, they may be the most complex in terms of motive, but that's it. And even if they are violent pests, you just have to treat them like normal folk to get them off your back. Just pretend to invite them to a fair, stick them in the house of mirrors, and see what happens!

Trivia: -There was a sequel planned, involving a person getting stuck in the TV set as opposed to the other way around, but it has yet to be made.

-There are supposedly backstories for the zombies, but only a few are known, such as Jimmy D being an athletic 50s stud before he drowned.

The bride wore death for her wedding day.
